Cropink alternative for Shopify catalog ads: Convinci vs Cropink
Convinci team. Published 2026-09-26, updated 2026-10-07.

Cropink shows up near the top of many catalog ad searches. It writes a lot about catalog ads (also called dynamic product ads, or DPA), and it has a free plan. Convinci is a newer tool built for Shopify stores on Meta. Here is how they compare, and when Convinci is the better Cropink alternative.
Every claim about Cropink comes from its own public pages, and we link each one. We read those pages on September 26, 2026, and checked them again on October 7, 2026. Prices change, so check their site before you buy.
The short answer
Pick Cropink if you already have an XML product feed, work in Figma, or run catalog ads on TikTok and Snapchat too. It also has team tools for agencies.
Pick Convinci if you run a Shopify store and want it done without a feed file or a design tool. You paste your store link, pick a design and publish to Meta. Convinci also comes with a 50% ROAS lift or money back promise.
What Cropink does
Cropink's home page reads "Turn product data into catalog ads, in minutes". It pitches itself as "as easy as Canva, as powerful as Figma". It names these ways to improve an ad:
- A custom background.
- Clear pricing.
- Text on the image.
- Real customer reviews.
Its pricing page lists more. There is a Figma plugin, dynamic product data, rule based designs and price formatting. It also lists a scheduler, product filters and team roles. Each project outputs feeds "for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and more".
Cropink's home page also shows case studies with ROAS and conversion numbers. Those are its own claims about its customers, and we do not repeat them here.
How Cropink gets your products
Cropink works from a product feed. Its first project guide says you paste the URL of your feed. It says Cropink "supports XML files in Google RSS or ATOM format only."
Its home page says you can sync "via Shopify, Meta, XML or CSV". Its product feed page still listed the Shopify connector as "coming soon" on October 7, 2026. If you are on Shopify, ask Cropink which one is current.
The same guide says auto updates are on paid plans only. On the free plan you get 2 manual updates a day.
What Convinci does
Convinci does not need a feed file. Paste your Shopify store link. Convinci reads your public products and builds branded ad cards from your photos. Each card can show your store name or logo, the price and a true sale badge. It can also show your star rating, review count and a lifestyle photo.
Here is a face serum from the Northbank Supply sample store, as the plain photo.

Here it is as a Convinci side pane card. The name, price and rating sit in the pane, off the product.

The price and rating are sample data. Try your own products in the free preview, with no account and no card.
How each tool reaches Meta
Both tools use a supplementary feed on a Shopify catalog. Neither edits your ads.
Cropink's Meta setup guide gives two options. You can use its feed as your main feed, or as a supplementary feed. It "strongly" recommends the supplementary feed. For Shopify catalogs, it says always use the supplementary feed, so the Shopify sync stays in place.
Convinci also publishes a supplementary feed. It swaps image_link and additional_image_link only. Your campaigns, ad sets, ads, prices and stock are not touched.
Why it matters: Meta lists any change to ad creative as a significant edit. A feed change is not an ad edit. Read does changing catalog images reset learning for the details.
Pricing side by side
These are the plans as we saw them on October 7, 2026, unchanged since September 26. Cropink prices come from its pricing page. Convinci prices are on our pricing section.
